The Spree-Oder Canal takes you through <strong>F\u00fcrstenwalde<\/strong> to the junction with the Neuhaus feeding canal. Behind the Neuhaus lock, the Spree meanders through the countryside to Beeskow, where a beautiful old town awaits you, inviting you to take a walk ashore.<\/p>\n<p>It is only a few kilometers from Beeskow to Lake Schwielochsee, the southern tip of which borders the <strong>Spreewald <\/strong>. The town of Goyatz is not only worth a visit because of its various museums, but is also a good starting point for a trip to the Spreewald.<\/p>\n<p>If you want to travel a little further along the Spree, you can usually go as far as Lake Neuendorf.
